Terms of Participation
The German company sonnen GmbH (hereinafter "sonnen"), manufacturer of the battery storage system sonnenBatterie, offers its clients the opportunity to participate in various competitions as part of the Advent Calendar 2021. Participation in this competition is subject to the following terms of participation, which you accept by entering the competition.
Organiser
The competition is organised by sonnen GmbH, Am Riedbach 1, 87499 Wildpoldsried, Germany.
Participation requirements
Participation in the competition is free of charge and independent of the purchase of goods or services from sonnen. Only participants of the postings / stories carried out by sonnen on the respective day in December 2021 (hereinafter "Postings") who have fully implemented the Postings according to the respective tasks, for example "comment and mark", will participate in the Competition. Each person can only participate in the Postings for the duration of the Competition until he/she has won a prize. After winning a prize, further participation in the Postings is not permitted.
Start, procedure and termination of the competition
The period of the "Advent Calendar 2021" competition begins on 01 December 2021 at 09:00 CET and ends on 24 December 2021 at 23:59 CET. Each individual competition will only take place on the respective day and will end at 23:59 CET.
You participate in our Advent Calendar 2021 Competition through our social media channels on Instagram and Facebook. The Competition is not associated with Instagram or Facebook and are in no way sponsored, endorsed or organised by Instagram or Facebook.
The winner will be determined on the following day of each Competition from among the participants who have fulfilled the conditions of participation. The winner will be determined by random draw. The winner will be notified within 24 hours after the end of the respective competition by direct message on the social media channel on which the winner has participated. The winner will not be named publicly.
The prize is excluded from exchange. The prize is not transferable to third parties. Cash payment of the prize is excluded. A wide variety of products from sonnen or its service providers will be raffled off.
sonnen reserves the right to terminate the Competition at any time for good cause and without prior notice if proper implementation cannot be guaranteed for technical or legal reasons. Should the competition be terminated for the aforementioned reasons, the actual winner will subsequently receive a gift of equal value.
Eligibility
All persons over the age of 18 who are resident in Germany are eligible to participate. Employees of sonnen, its affiliated companies and competition partners, including members of the aforementioned groups, are excluded from participation. sonnen reserves the right to exclude individual persons from participation if there are justified reasons, such as breach of the terms of participation, double participation, undue influence on the Competition, manipulation, etc.. In such cases, prizes may also be subsequently withdrawn and reclaimed.
Limitations of liability
sonnen shall only be liable for damages caused by sonnen, its legal representatives or vicarious agents intentionally or through gross negligence, or through the violation of essential obligations within the scope of the Competition (so-called cardinal obligations). Cardinal obligations are those whose fulfilment is necessary to achieve the objective of the Competition. In these cases, liability is limited to the foreseeable, typically occurring damage. Liability for damages arising from injury to life, limb or health remains unaffected by this.
Data protection
The responsible entity in the sense of Art. 4 No. 7 GDPR is sonnen GmbH, Am Riedbach 1, 87499 Wildpoldsried, Germany, info@sonnen.de, represented by the managing directors Oliver Koch (CEO), Maximilian Haensel and Bianca Swanston.
For participation in the Competition, it is necessary to use the personal data provided by you (title, first name, last name, e-mail address, address). The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR. The prize will be sent to the residential address provided by the participant; notifications in connection with the Competition will be sent to the email address provided.
The participant is free to revoke his/her participation in the Competition at any time. The revocation is to be sent to: sonnen GmbH, Am Riedbach 1, 87499 Wildpoldsried, Germany, or to social@sonnen.de or to the fax number +49 (0) 83 04 92 933-401. In the event of a revocation, the participant will be excluded from the Competition.
The personal data provided by the participant will be collected, stored and used by sonnen for the purpose of carrying out and processing the Competition and will also be passed on to third parties, e.g. for the purpose of delivering the prize. Third parties in this case are: Network Punkt Hamburg UG, Hinterhaus 2, Eimsbütteler Chaussee 21, 20259 Hamburg, Germany. The data will be deleted two weeks after the end of the Competition.
Final provisions
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply.
Should individual provisions of the conditions of participation be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining conditions of participation shall remain unaffected.
The judges' decision is final.
